Dr. Moschos A. Papadopoulos is Associate Professor and Postgraduate Program Coordinator at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and Editor of the "Hellenic Orthodontic Review", scientific journal of the Greek Orthodontic Society. Dr. Papadopoulos has served as Vice President of the Hellenic Professional Union of Orthodontists, as Treasurer and Vice Secretary General of the Stomatological Society of Northern Greece, and as Member of the Board of Trustees of the Greek Orthodontic Society and of the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece.

He received his Dental Degree from the School of Dentistry of the  Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1986, his Doctorate Degree and his Certificate in Orthodontics from the School of Dentistry of the University of Freiburg, Germany, in 1988 and 1990 respectively. Dr. Papadopoulos has also served as Research Collaborator at the Department of Experimental Surgery, Swiss Research Institute, Davos, Switzerland.

Dr. M. A. Papadopoulos is Associate Editor of the journal "Stoma", Member of the Editorial Board of the journals "American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics", "International Dental and Medical Disorders", and "Brazilian Research in Pediatric Dentistry and Clinic", while he served as Member of the Editorial Board of the journals "ORTHO", "Orthodontics", "Orthodontic Review" and "Hellenic Orthodontic Review". He also serves as Referee of the above mentioned journals as well as of the "Angle Orthodontist", "European Journal of Orthodontics", "World Journal of Orthodontics", "The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal", "The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants", "Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing" and "Medical Science Monitor". He is also an active member in 9 Greek and 6 international societies, federations and unions.

Dr. M. A. Papadopoulos has received in 1993 the "A. Tsoukanelis Award" by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as the "Annual Scientific Award" by the German Association of Plastic Surgeons for the year 2004.

Dr. M. A. Papadopoulos has written the book entitled “Orthodontic treatment for the Class II non-compliant patient: Current principles and techniques”, has published more than 95 scientific articles and book chapters, and has presented more than 190 lectures, seminars and papers in many countries around the world.
